How to play Merge

Play Merge, a free 2048-style puzzle: swipe and combine tiles to reach 2048. Keyboard, touch, hints, and undo — no sign-up.

  1. Swipe, or use the arrow keys, to slide every tile on the board in one direction.
  2. Two tiles with the same number merge into one tile worth their sum.
  3. A new tile appears after every move, so plan where it can land.
  4. Build a 2048 tile to win. Undo takes back a move, and hints suggest one when the board gets tight.
